Lync Server 2010 Core Implementation
This 3-day course provides you with the fundamental knowledge necessary to implement and support a Lync Server 2010 infrastructure. Most Lync deployments start with the core feature set, including presence, instant messaging, conferencing (web, audio and video) and Edge. This is typically phase one of deployment followed later by an Enterprise Voice deployment phase. This class is all about the phase 1 core and does not dive into Enterprise Voice functionality beyond introductory concepts (attend the Enterprise Voice Implementation class for a deep dive).
In this class you will learn about the Lync architecture, server roles, design guidelines, installation, clients, policies, sites, edge, conferencing, Lync Web App, monitoring, archiving, and more. Our unique lab environment allows for advanced multi-site implementations and testing of Edge deployments and policies.
This class stands on its own or you can attend in conjunction with the Enterprise Voice class for a full week of in-depth Lync training. Special pricing is available for the full week class or attend the core now and the Voice later when the time is right.
